Every Assessment have some questions associated with it in a view to assess the skills & knowledge of Candidates. Questions that can be asked from the candidates while taking Assessment tests vary based on the type of role you are looking for.
There may be a question to identify a missing number, shape or image at the end of a series, or you might give them a written scenario that they will answer questions from or you may ask a candidate to record a video describing about him/her self.
Thus questions asked in an Assessment Test could be of any type i.e. MCQs, Text, Picture, Audio, Video, File upload etc depending upon the level of assessment you are going to conduct.
Looking at this requirement, Assessment Module of RBox enables you to add questions in multiple formats which are explained below:
1. Multiple Choice
Multiple choice questions are composed of one question with single or multiple possible answers (choices), including the correct answer and several incorrect answers. Candidates can generally respond to these type of questions quite quickly. As a result, they are often used to test Candidate’s knowledge of a broad range of content.
a. Single Option
Multiple choice questions with Single Option will have only 1 correct answer among the given choices.
b. Multiple Options
Multiple choice questions with Multiple Options can have 1 or more correct answers depending upon the scenario given in the question.
Descriptive questions often requires written responses, which can vary in length from a couple of paragraphs to many pages. These type of questions provide students with an opportunity to explain their understanding and demonstrate their skill.
In some cases, you as a User may simply want the Candidate to click a picture and upload it i.e. candidate's picture, picture of their educational certificates or training certificates etc.
With the help of RBox, you can also add this type of questions while creating the assessment templates.
This type of questions allow candidates to respond directly by voice recording to present statements prepared to answer the question. These exams are especially popular in language courses that demand ‘speaking’ but they can be used to assess understanding in almost any course.
There may be some questions which require the assessment taker to record a video while answering the question. This type of questions can be covered with the help of Video format given in assessment module of RBox while designing the questions.
6. File Upload
File Upload is an important type of Question that allows respondents to upload any file from their computer or mobile device, which you can then download and review after assessment is submitted by the candidate.
You can ask the candidate to add single or multiple files in one file type question. It supports all file types(with a Maximum file size of 5 MB). So, you could ask your respondents to send you a DOC file with their resume, or a photograph in JPEG format.
