How to Clear History of Chrome Browser – RBox

Summary
This document explains how to clear the history (cache of browsed websites) of Google Chrome Browser. You may need to do this occasionally to ensure proper functioning of RBox and rendering of pages in the application.

1. Process
Carry out the following steps to clear the browsing history of your Chrome browser.

1.0 lf you’re already logged into RBox, log out and close all open windows of Chrome and then open a new Chrome window.

1.1 Point to the Settings icon in Chrome and the select the ‘History’ option and within that again select the ‘History’ option.

1.2 In the ‘History’ tab, click the ‘Clear browsing data’ button.

1.3 In the ‘Clear browsing data’ window that appears, make sure that “the beginning of time” is selected in the ‘Obliterate following items from’ drop-down and then click the ‘Clear browsing data’ button.

1.4 Once the history is cleared, close Chrome and then launch a fresh Chrome window and login to RBox.
