You can manually add and edit candidate details into the Private Candidate Pool. The New mega menu option allows adding new candidates manually.
This is similar to adding candidates into the Public Candidate Pool covered in the Candidate Database section. However when saving the candidate details you would need to select the Advanced Candidate Manager (Private).
Scenarios in which adding candidates manually may be required for e.g. when candidates walking in to your office to submit hard-copy of their resumes, to quickly capture key details of references generated for e.g. during headhunting via networking, information received via email, telephone calls etc.
Editing Candidate Details
You can edit and update candidate details in Advanced Candidate Manager (Private) by clicking on a candidate name – this opens the Full View of the candidate enabling you to view all database fields for the candidate including the resume files attached to the candidate record.
You can edit the values in the fields and also edit the linked resume files, as well as add/remove existing files.

To edit a Candidate in Advanced Candidate Mgr (Private):
- Click on the candidate name link in the list pane.
- This will open the candidate Full View for editing the candidate details.
- Make the changes in the relevant fields and click the 'Save' button.
