RBox allows you to delete candidates from the database temporarily as well as permanently. Deleting candidates removes all parsed information, resume and other related files linked to the candidate as well as the recruitment history of the candidate.
Scenarios in which you may need to delete candidates include removing irrelevant candidates or records wrongly detected as resumes (which may sometimes happen during resume parsing), reducing the database size etc.
Types of Deletion
Temporary deletion marks the candidate for deletion by moving the candidate into the Deleted folder in the Adv. Candidate Manager. In this state the candidate will not be visible in any candidate view and will also be included in searches applied via the Candidate Search tool.
Also, candidates marked for deletion can at any time be restored by moving them from the Deleted folder to any other folder in the Adv. Candidate Manager.
Permanent deletion occurs when you a candidate from the ‘Deleted’ folder. The candidate cannot be restored after this. This is allowed only to users who have been allocated the related permission via the administrative login.

1. Mark Candidates as Deleted
In the Main Menu bar point to Modules menu and select 'Adv. Candidate Manager'.
- In Adv. Candidate Mgr. page locate the resume folder/collection from which to delete candidates and click on it.
- Tick next to the candidates to mark deleted, point to 'Candidate' menu and select 'Delete'.
2. Restore candidates marked for deletion
In the Main Menu bar point to Modules menu and select 'Adv. Candidate Manager (Public)'.
- In Adv. Candidate Mgr. page locate the resume folder/collection from which to delete candidates and click on it.
- Tick next to the candidates to restore, point to 'Candidate' menu and select 'Move to Folder'.
- In the 'Move to Folder' dialog select Inbox or any other folder and click OK.
3. Permanently delete candidates
In the Main Menu bar point to Modules menu and select 'Adv. Candidate Manager (Public)'.
- In Adv. Candidate Mgr. page locate the resume folder/collection from which to delete candidates and click on it.
- Tick next to the candidates to restore, point to 'Candidate' menu and select 'Move to Folder'.
- In the 'Move to Folder' dialog select Inbox or any other folder and click OK.
