Symptoms
- When trying to import resumes from a ‘.zip’ or ‘.rar’ file using Quick Import, RBox shows an error related to archiving tool not being configured.
- After selecting a '.zip' or '.rar' file for importing when you click the import button, the page just refreshes and no processing happens.

Possible Causes & Solutions
- Cause: The path for the WinRAR archiving utility is not set in the RBox configuration file on the server.
Solution: Add the path of the executable file of the WinRAR archiving utility in the RBox configuration file. Please refer to the document Setting WinRAR Path in the Spconfig File to learn how to do this.
More Information
The WinRAR archiving utility is used internally by RBox to unzip/un-archive files from a compressed archive file while parsing resumes from a .zip or .rar file. For the functionality to work RBox requires the WinRAR tool to be installed on the server machine and the path to its executable file needs to be added to the ‘spserverconfig.ini’ file on the server.
