Summary
This article describes the tehcnical and application configurations done by the Platina Implementation team at the start of a RBox implementation.
In order to complete these configurations successfully and in timely way so that a customer can start using RBox in the shortest possible time we require specific inputs from the customer.
Configuration Options
The initial configuration involves setting system setting and options to align with your organization's processes and requirements.
1. Organization Name
Your company name is set in the RBox system options and is used for tagging resumes added from different sources to your database and also in other modules where it may be need to identify your organization.
2. Resume Parsing Controls
These settings are done to enable accurate parsing of key candidate details from resumes.
a. Skip EmailIds
Your company's internal emailids are added to the list of email addresses to be ignored whenparsing candidate details from resumes. These email-ids may be added by your team in the resume header/footer when submitting resumes to clients.
b.Skip Telephone Numbers
Your company's internal phone numbers are added to the list of telephone numbers to be ignored when parsing candidate details from resumes. These phone numbers would be those added by your team in resumes when submitting resumes to clients.
c. Skip Names
The names of your team members are added to the list of names to be ignored when parsing candidate details from resumes. These names may be present in the resume header/footer when submitting resumes to clients.
3. Resume Submission Configuration
This includes the options to automatically generate the following elements when submitting resumes from RBox:
a. Header using Company Logo: Your organization’s logo is required to be set in RBox so that this can be automatically included in the header portion of each resume submitted to external email-ids. You need to provide this as a scanned image to us (e.g. .jpg, .gif, .bmp etc.)
b. Footer using Company Contact Details: Your organization’s contact details are required to be set in RBox so that this can be automatically included in the footer portion of each resume submitted to external email-ids. You need to provide this either as a scanned image to us (e.g. .jpg, .gif, .bmp etc.) or as plain text.
c. Resume Face sheet
A Face Sheet is a cover information sheet for a candidate's resume that you forward from RBox. For example this may be table listing key aspects of a candidate such as name, location, work experience, current salary, screening comments etc.
RBox can automatically include a Face Sheet in each resume submitted to clients. For this to be configured you need to provide sample formats of the cover sheets you’d like to be set up in RBox.
d. Candidate Tracker
A Candidate Tracker summarizes key details of candidates for candidate submittals from RBox. It is generally generated in MS Excel format and acts as quick reference.
For example, the tracker may include specific details of each candidate’s resume being submitted such as name, current employer, qualifications, relevant skills, notice period, etc.
RBox can automatically include a Candidate Tracker when submitting resumes. For this to be configured you need to provide sample formats of the candidate trackers you’d like to be set up in RBox.
4. Email Templates
These are pre-defined email formats for common types of messages sent frequently such as messages announcing job openings, mail for submitting resumes, interview scheduling emails, request for updated resumes from candidates, etc.
If you have specific email formats for such common scenarios then you would need to share samples of these with our implementation team so that these can be set up in RBox.
