1. Add a new name to skip
You can enable the skipping of specific names during resume parsing to avoid detection of incorrect values as the candidate's name. For e.g. in some cases your own team member's name present in the resume may get detected as the candidate's name.
Follow these steps via a user login having administrator privileges:
- Point to the Tools menu and select 'System Configuration'.
- In the System Configuration Navigator, expand the 'Extraction Objects' folder node and click on the 'Skip Names' data view.
- In the right-hand pane, point to the 'File' menu and select 'New'.The 'New Skip Name Phrase' dialog comes up.
- Enter the name to be skipped in the 'Skip Name' field & click 'Save'.
2. Modify a skip name
Follow these steps via a user login having administrator privileges:
- Point to the Tools menu and select 'System Configuration'.
- In the System Configuration Navigator, expand the 'Extraction Objects' folder node and click on the 'Skip Names' data view.
- The right-hand pane will show the existing Skip Names - click on the one to modify. Its details will be displayed.
- Make the desired changes and click 'Save'.
3. Delete a skip name
Follow these steps via a user login having administrator privileges:
- Point to the Tools menu and select 'System Configuration'.
- In the System Configuration Navigator, expand the 'Extraction Objects' folder node and click on the 'Skip Names' data view.
- The right-hand pane will show the existing Skip Names.
- Tick next to the one to delete.
- Point to the 'Edit' menu and select 'Delete'.
